Established in September 1997, Southgate is a residential community in the heart of Carolina Forest. The community is home to 409 single-family homes across more than 140 acres of land and features 15 community ponds.

Southgate’s pool holds over 71,000 gallons of water, with depths ranging from 3 to 5 feet. The gated pool deck has lounge seating and shaded areas, providing residents with space to swim, relax, and enjoy.

Southgate's playground offers a dedicated outdoor recreation area designed for younger residents to play, climb, swing, and enjoy time outdoors.
Pavilion
Southgate's covered pavilion provides approximately 800 square feet of gathering space, with seating and tables for community events, gatherings, and everyday use.

Southgate’s half court provides residents with a dedicated outdoor space for basketball, casual games, and outdoor recreation.
